Neighborhood Reinvestment Program

Thank you for your interest in applying to the County’s Neighborhood Reinvestment Program. Community-based organizations (CBO) are vital in addressing systemic disparities inherent in historically underserved communities. As a result, federal, state, and local governments should provide supplemental funding to CBOs to ensure their success in fulfilling the needs of their targeted populations. My office aims to provide funding to organizations that successfully demonstrate a commitment to positively impacting the communities of County District 4.

The Neighborhood Reinvestment Program provides grant funds to County departments, public agencies, and non-profit community organizations for one-time community, social, environmental, educational, cultural, or recreational needs.

For your grant application to be considered, you must complete ALL the required fields and submit the requested attachments. Your grant will NOT be considered if any required and requested information is missing.

For any questions, please contact district4grants@sdcounty.ca.gov.

COUNTY DISTRICT 4 GRANTS GUIDELINES

  • Please read this webpage and grant application questions carefully.  Given the high volume of grant applications, only completed applications to the County District 4 grants webpage form below will be considered for grant awards.
  •  Each County of San Diego Board of Supervisors (BOS) office controls its grants schedule. As a result, grant schedules may differ, and it is highly recommended that CBOs contact an individual BOS office on specific grant-related questions.
  •  If awarded, District 4 will award CBOs one NRP award per fiscal year (FY).
  • Grant applications will be accepted throughout the FY. Review of submitted applications and award announcements will depend on the grant application’s submission date. Please see the COUNTY DISTRICT 4 GRANTS SCHEDULE below.
